情人的礼物 第一章

    传来了消息，从我那消逝了的青春时光：

    “我在前方五月的颤抖中等候你，

    在那里，微笑为眼泪而成熟，时光伴着未唱出的歌痉挛。”

    消息说：“到我这儿来吧，越过疲惫的岁月轨迹，

    来我的花园散步吧

    来我的花园散步吧，我的爱人。

    走过热情的花儿，

    她们正把自己推挤进你的视野。

    走过她们吧，在某些偶然的快乐前停步，

    如同日落的辉煌呈现出的惊奇绚烂，然而，躲开吧。

    因为情人的礼物是羞涩的，

    它从不说出自己的名字，

    它飞掠黑暗，

    沿着尘埃洒落一地欢乐的碎片。

    或追赶上它，或永远地错过它。

    但那可被抓住的礼物只是一朵脆弱的花，

    或是一盏摇曳颤抖的灯。

    Pass by the fervid flowers that

    press themselves on your sight.

    Pass them by, stopping at some chance joy,

    which like a sudden wonder of sunset illumines, yet elude.

    For lover’s gift is shy,

    it never tells its name,

    it flits across the shade,

    spreading a shiver of joy along the dust.

    Overtake it or miss it forever.

    But a gift that can be grasped is merely a frail flower,

    or a lamp with flame that will flicker.
