    居住在溪流的陡坡上面；

    我的心像一棵苹果树，

    累累的果实把枝条压弯；

    我的心像一只色彩斑斓的贝壳，

    漂流在平静的海洋；

    为我造一座丝绒铺就的高台，

    挂上毛皮和紫色的饰品；

    作品赏析

    诗中的“我”将自己快乐的心比作“歌唱的鸟儿”，果实累累的苹果树，“色彩斑斓的贝壳”，而这一切全是因为爱情的到来。为了迎接爱，她想象着装点着自己的一切。结尾才提到所谓的“生日”，原来是爱情赋予了她新生。这些都把她对爱情的执著追求与当爱来临的欢欣表现得淋漓尽致。
